The Revelation Bag is constructed from stainless steel using the traditional European 4-in-1 chainmaille weave, with a tightly coiled Jens Pind weave handle for additional strength and structure.
Hundreds of tiny rings were individually opened, woven, and closed by hand over many hours of development. The rings used in this piece are deliberately finer and smaller than usual, allowing the body of the bag to mimic the properties of fabric while providing greater security for the contents within.
The bag is fringed with tiny stainless steel balls and finished with a freshwater pearl cross at its center. The purse frame is made from a durable alloy to ensure secure closure without compromising the integrity of the piece.
The compartment of the bag measures approximately 21cm by 12cm at its widest point, with an overall size of 25cm by 12cm including the frame. The 35cm handle allows it to be worn comfortably as a wristlet or over the forearm. A longer shoulder or crossbody strap is also available if preferred.
Please note: due to the flexible diamond-shaped construction of the body, this bag will take on the shape of the items placed inside.
Customisation: Different occasions sometimes call for a different strap length. I am able to create interchangeable straps for the Revelation Bag, with clasps at either end to attach securely to the existing frame.
