when will my order be shipped?
All LMV items are made to order - please allow up to 30 days for your armour to be forged and dispatched.
You will receive an Australia Post tracking number once your parcel has left my workroom.
Please note, Express Post does not mean express production - rather, it is offered to minimise the amount of time your order spends in the mail system.
what is your refund policy?
As all items are made to order, I cannot accept returns if you change your mind.
I will, however, gladly adjust your purchase for you if you decide you'd like it tweaked – all you have to do is cover the cost of return postage. Email lamortvientstore@gmail.com to initiate this process.
will my maille tarnish or rust?
Wherever possible, I use apocalypse-proof stainless steel. It’s extremely durable and resistant to corrosion and oxidation.
It will not rust, tarnish or turn you green – even if worn daily.
You may still wish to freshen your maille up with an occasional clean. The simplest way to do this is with a bit of mild soap, warm water and a microfibre cloth. This will clean off any accumulated pollutants and grime. For the tricky, hard-to-reach spots deep within the weave, you can also use a soft toothbrush.
why have i received my tee but not my armour?
In order to ensure your tees reach you as quickly as possible, I've asked my print provider to ship them to you directly.
If you've ordered a tee and armour, you can expect them to arrive in separate packages.
how should i take my measurements?
A simple, reliable method is to drape a piece of string around the part of your neck / wrist / waist where you'd like your armour to sit, then measure the string flat. The majority of my pieces come with built-in extender chains which provide room for adjustment, so don't stress too hard about this process.
do you take custom jobs?
I try to take on as much custom work as possible (subject to the size of the job and how busy I am).
